It has been a long time since our last post- apologies for that- but I just wanted to congratulate Linda on the purchase of Mickey! I know he taught many of our followers throughout the years and now has an excellent new home. 🦄

For throwback Thursday, here is a picture of one of the horses who made me the rider I am today- Royal Baywatch- now loved by someone else and retired to the trail horse life.

This weekend look for Carter with both Vienna and Kosmo at the Alhambra Summer Three Day Event!

Roux tried her best hoof at Third Level at the Alhambra Dressage Show today, earning a 69% and a 64% for a first and second place finish, while Carter rode Vienna in Pretraining Test B for a 70% and a fourth place ribbon! Two tired ponies!

A dressage horse was spotted on cross country today! Thanks to Ulrika for letting us come school at the beautiful Alhambra!

I am really sorry about the lack of posts right now, things have just been super busy! We just finished a great clinic with Gina Smith at Trakehner Glen, and are looking forward to the month of training ahead! As it is right now, I will not be accepting any more students for the time being, as I am rearranging my schedule. Thank you for understanding! :)

Merry Christmas everyone! Today ended up being an extremely busy day with all the snow, so unfortunately I don't have a holiday themed picture to share, but to everyone here in Alberta- stay warm and dry! And to everyone everywhere else- Happy Holidays!

Thanks everyone for respecting my much needed holiday- I am happy to say that I am home from my adventure in one piece and ready to resume at full speed!

I guess it's time I should announce that I will be away from September 20-October 10 for a much needed vacation. Please respect that I will be unable to answer emails during this time but will do my best to address any concerns before I leave! :)

Red was a good boy all weekend, but with an unfortunate goose fight in our test yesterday causing a slight spook and just some tiredness today, he finished the weekend with a very respectable 63.9%, which was good for second place (in an open test of choice class) which left us with two blues and a red for Red! Lots of potential left to develop in this boy with some more work and strength!

Today was day 1 of the CA/ADA Black Tie II Gold Show at Anderson Ranch, and Red (Grande Rouge)'s first show! I'm so happy to report good behavior, and although a little tense he finished up top of his class with a 63.5%. Home bred, home trained, home shown! Bigger things to come for this horse!

Congratulations to Carter and Kosmos who finished in 3rd place on their dressage score at this weekend's Alhambra Summer Event!
