Piano & Violin
Subin began studying violin at the age of five and earned her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Calgary, studying under the guidance of Craig Hutchenreuther and Joan Barrett. She has performed with numerous orchestras in Calgary and currently plays with the Calgary Civic Symphony, Centre Street Church Orchestra, and Electronic Symphonia.

With over 12 years of teaching experience, Subin specializes in violin instruction that blends strong technical foundations with musical expression. In addition to her teaching, she is an active performer at weddings, concerts, and community events, contributing to Calgary’s vibrant music scene as both a teacher and musician.

Teacher: Elle - Bio
Piano, Guitar, Voice, Ukulele
Elle is a singer and instrumentalist who takes influence from the indie, folk and alternative music scene. She has been taking piano lessons since the age of seven. She started the Royal Conservatory of Music program at the age of 10 and has progressed to RCM Level 7.
Throughout highschool, Elle self-taught herself to play the guitar and further expanded her skills from some of our own esteemed guitar & Voice instructors before coming onboard as a teacher in 2023! Today, she performs at a multitude of recitals and open mics.

Here's Gabrielle taking down a classical guitar exercise that involves her fingerpicking with multiple fingers on her right hand, and alternating bass and melody notes with her left. It takes a lot of coordination to play passages like this!
