A letter to my new friend Jason over at the ETSY legal team who recently shut us down due to copyright infringement:

Unreal Jason! How can you, or the company you work for, be so obtuse! Your website is littered with infringement!

Do you think this guy has Disney's copyright?

I doubt they have the rights to make and sell these, but your company allows it.

I could find thousands of listings like these. I understand what I agreed to, but you have singled me out like many others. ETSY continues to profit from all of these listings that clearly infringe on copyright. You choose to ignore it until a lawyer comes'a'knockin', then you act and remove the store. If you can't see that Jason, then you are indeed blind.

Don't worry, I won't be bothering with your company anymore. I will take my business elsewhere. I hope, one day, ETSY changes their policies, but it's no wonder ETSY is being compared to EBAY in the press when you back-up and promote garbage such as this.
