What an unforgettable journey with our Teen Explorer students! 🌍 Calgary has been the perfect backdrop for learning, laughter, and new discoveries. Whether we were navigating the city, spotting wildlife, or diving into hands-on activities, every day has been an adventure. 🎇Graduation Day at GV!🎓

Massive number of grads this week – super sad amid the sunshine here in Victoria.

“we all had fun together and we’ll remember the friendships that we made here and the good time we had in Victoria” – a GV student, today.

🎓 We’d like to thank all the high school groups from Mexico and Japan that have spent the last few weeks with. Thanks for your energy and smiles and laughter!

🎓 Terezinha Akemi Nakazawa has been with us for 14 weeks! She was so nice to have in the class – always positive and smiling ..a real Brazilian vibe!!

🎓 Yujin Jea was also a real star. 17 weeks here at GV. She mad lots of friends and had a great time!

🎓 Greta Palumbo joined us from Italy! She will be returning to get ready for school. We’ll miss her. Good luck!

🎓 Sofia Aguirre Siguenza was only with us for 2 weeks but made a great impression. She had a great time and made good friends.

🎓 Fatima Martinez Cancino was with us for 4 weeks and also was able to have a great time and do some exploring with her new friends.

🎓 Haruka Asakawa was with us for 7 weeks. We wish her all the best as she returns to Japan.

Summer in Victoria is all smiles! 🇨🇦☀️

Our junior students are making the most of their summer program! From exploring downtown and historical landmarks 🏛️ to hitting the beach 🏖️ and gym 🏀, every day is a new adventure! And don’t forget the delicious snacks and street-art-ready photo poses! 📸💥

A deep dive into Alberta's waters! 🐟 We spent a wonderful day exploring the Bow Habitat Station Discovery Centre and Sam Livingston Fish Hatchery in Calgary. It was fascinating to learn about our province's aquatic ecosystems and native fish species through their interactive exhibits and beautiful aquariums. Seeing the conservation efforts firsthand really gives you a new perspective on our natural world. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this is definitely a hidden gem worth exploring!

🎇Graduation Day at GV!🎓

🎓We’d like to send out a big thank you to our JAPIU teen group that have recently been with us. It’s always nice to welcome high school groups here – especially in the summer when there is so much to do and see!!

🎓 Andrea Maria Quintero deserves a special shout-out as well – she was or first Gap Year student who has spent six months here elevating her English and gaining confidence in a variety of skills. She did an amazing job and become very special to all of us here at GV Victoria – we wish her great success in the future and hope we’ll see her again!

🎓 Miguel Ortega is a fellow Colombian who also made a great impression on the teachers as well as the school. We wish him luck as he explores his future and continue ion his adventures.

🎓 Kantaro Tamada has been with us for 12 weeks. He will be going to university in England in September. He will be a famous archaeologist one day!

🎓 Janosch Festag will be returning to Switzerland , but not before having some more adventures at Tofino here on Vancouver Island!


Clara Cielo Benitez and Sofia Camacho Felix will both be returning to Mexico and school in September. Good luck!

Bringing the energy and the moves! 🕺🔥 Our junior students brought their best rhythm and attitude to the floor during today’s hip hop session. 🎶✨ Watching everyone pick up the choreography, show off their personality, and support each other was an absolute highlight. They danced their hearts out and made every beat count! 💥💯
