Active Explorers Preschool Active Explorers is a unique preschool that integrates gymnastics classes into its daily structure.

Active Explorers offers a unique and child-centered program that builds a strong foundation for children through an innovative curriculum and interactive, hands-on learning opportunities. Intellectual, physical and social needs will be met through a variety of learning experiences, including but not limited to guided discovery, in-class field trips, group/circle time, art, music, creative and coop

erative play and innovative centers. We also believe that physical activity is integral to social, emotional and cognitive development. Children enrolled in Active Explorers will have daily access to our onsite gymnastics facility, where they will have the opportunity to engage in various games and activities to further develop body/spatial awareness, locomotor skills, eye-hand coordination, balance, strength, flexibility, cooperation and sportsmanship.

Pre-Registration Day is Here!

Today we are excited to open pre-registration for our current families and alumni for the 2026–2027 school year. We love welcoming returning families and new siblings back into our AE community!

Registering Alumni & Siblings
- Please use the link in our bio to register an alumni child or a sibling
- Be sure to include an emergency contact who is not a parent/guardian, lives locally, and can be reached in case of emergency
- Once your child’s class is confirmed, the $95 registration fee can be paid via e-transfer
- The Parent Handbook will be sent out for review and signature once registration is complete.

One of our favorite things to do is observe play and develop play invitations that spark even more curiosity and engagement! When we take the time to notice what interests the preschoolers, we can introduce new materials, settings, or challenges that deepen their play and bring new energy to familiar activities. Play is always changing, and we love finding ways to keep it fresh and inspiring! This month, painting a different surface, an Ikea lamp, was a huge hit!
