The PACEL Academy continues registration for the International eCamp “YouthPreneurship in Action”. This is a great opportunity for youth ages 14 through 24 to explore and practice principles and strategies of thinking and acting as an entrepreneur and innovator while designing their own business opportunities.

Under the supervision of the award-winning entrepreneur and university instructor in entrepreneurship and innovations, participants will be engaged in the interactive authentic and collaborative projects through which they will
- learn the lean entrepreneurship and design thinking mindsets and tools;
- explore the best practices for human-centered market research;
- build entrepreneurial teamwork, communication, and leadership skills; and
- develop problem solving, critical and creative thinking.

At the end of the camp, participants will present their prototype business ideas, earn badges, and certificates of completion.

Новая программа в русской школе Св. Иоанна Златоуста!

Приглашаются дети в возрасте 12 лет и старше, которые уже хорошо владеют навыками чтения и письма на русском языке, но хотели бы продолжить обучение и сдать экзамены на кредиты для канадской (Альберта) старшей школы (Highschool) по программе “Russian as a Second Language” (RUS 15, RUS 25, RUS 35).

В требования к этим экзаменам входит овладение детьми навыками чтения, устной/письменной речи и знаний по грамматике русского языка (теория и практика).

Сдавать экзамены на кредиты можно начинать по мере подготовки ещё в средней школе (8-9 класс). Кредиты будут накапливаться до поступления ребёнка в старшую школу (в 10 класс ребёнок придёт уже с первыми кредитами, и у него останется больше времени на другие предметы).

Занятия буду проходить по субботам с 13:30 до 3:00 в здании университета ( St. Mary’s University,14500 Bannister Road SE)
