Mental Health Week is officially underway at West Island College.

Led by our Wellness Council, this week is a chance for our community to pause, reset, and support one another during a busy time of year. With final assignments and year-end commitments approaching, it’s a reminder that well-being comes first.

All week long, students can take part in activities that promote balance, connection, and school spirit—from free stickers and candy, a video game competition, and a dog visit, to Dance Dance Revolution, a movie viewing, and a Mother’s Day Market. There’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Today’s Multicultural Lunch = everything that makes our community special 🌍✨

A huge thank you to our DIPC (Diversity, Inclusivity, and Pluralism Committee) and everyone who helped bring this celebration to life — from students and staff who showed up in cultural wear and flag colours, to those who prepared incredible dishes and gave up their entire lunch hour to serve and support.

This is what it looks like when a school community comes together — celebrating culture, connection, and the diversity that makes us stronger. 💚
