From Cape Breton’s Red Shoe Pub’s Jam session to square dancing the night away in Brook Village, Celtic music is alive and well in the heart of the Island! The surprise was my husband Tom and I running into fellow Judge Carolyn Cusson and husband Piper, René Cusson – composer of my favourite Hornpipe – living out the summer from Canada‘s Vancouver Island!

Congratulations to Alexis and Maeven. Both had a wonderful and successful event at ScotDance USA in Dallas, Texas. Maeven, winner of both the national and Highland intermediate classes under 11 and Alexis finishes fourth runner-up in the Open championship 11 years🎉🎉 So proud of these young dancers!
