The U of A Calgary Centre officially opened in January 2009, replacing the Southern Alberta Liaison Office which had served Calgarians since 1996. We house representatives from the Office of Advancement, Alberta School of Business, Augustana Campus, University Relations Calgary, the Faculties of Engineering, Rehabilitation Medicine and Pharmacy, and provide alumni, donor, student, educational and conferencing services.

What a fantastic evening with our Calgary alumni on the 54th floor of The Bow. Who could forget watching the Calgary Tower being lit up everytime Canada won a medal? Special thanks to all of you who attended and to Andrew Derocher, '81 MSc, '91 PhD, who gave a wonderful talk about polar bears and climate change.

Just a reminder that the University of Alberta will be closed from Wednesday, December 25th until Wednesday, January 1st. Regular hours will start back up on Thursday, January 2nd, 2014.
