Woodman Junior High School Alumni - Calgary SW Making alumni connections with students and teachers Woodman Junior High School is a major junior high school for S.W. Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

The building was built in 1959 and has undergone some modifications from the original design including a new section added in the 70's. Woodman Junior High School has 34 classrooms in total including an art room, large gymnasium, small gymnasium, music (Band) room, science labs, computer lab, weight room, industrial shop, home economics labs (Cooking and Sewing), a drama room, and a learning resource centre. Woodman's school team are known as the Woodman Wolves.

"Hi My husband went to Woodman jr. High , the year he attend was 1971- 1973 He had gone to Haysbro Elementary School.before he went to Woodman jr. high.. We have talked about our old school days and laugh at somethings..
Now how it all happens is l was looking through CLASSMATES on the computer l always check to see if there any school reunion back in Wpg,then l always check on my husband's oh by the way his name is Doug MacDonald he use to live on Haysbro & 89th Ave ..He also knows Karen Currie and the family.. So since we have gone to his school reunion in Vernon BC. l thought why not go to this 1 too ,, even thou we don't live in Calgary anymore but l have asked him would he go to your school reunion he kinda went humm amm l said oh come on but he said he wouldn't remember anyone and who's to say if anyone know me ...Its been many yrs but l said you do know Karen Currie thou right ..
So let us know when the school reunion besides we need a little break from our business 😊...And l told him besides you never know someone will recognize you.lol or u never know you might run into Karen Currie,,so can we get more information on this reunion pls.. Thanks Doreen MacDonald ..

"Hi. I’m trying to remember the name of a superb music teacher I had in the mid to late 60’s, I think his name was Mr. Stevenson.

Is there any way I can find out if he taught here and what his full name was, or anything else about his career? I went to Woodman in Grade 7, I think it was around 1966." ~Sue, administrator
