ASARC | snowavalanchearchive Asarc field studies finished in Spring 2014. The principal investigator, Bruce Jamieson, retired in August 2015. The last Asarc paper was published in 2017. This page is maintained to provide access to selected research results.

Last graduate student, Simon Horton, recently defended his PhD. Bruce is planning field studies on measurement techniques for snow surface temperature as well as applications of photogrammetry to crown fractures, deposits and avalanche mapping. Several recent graduates are working on publications.
