What an amazing afternoon- Connecting!

Today we hosted our second EQ Connection café. The topic I shared on was “uncertainty”. It is certain that we will all go through moments of uncertainty. Learning emotional intelligence helps you navigate and stay yourself through all kinds of stressful situations.

In my new book, I teach simple yet profoundly effective soft skills that strengthen human connection.

In business, we’re often told to “build trust”… but trust is actually the result of connection.
When you lead with genuine connection, trust shows up naturally.

And trust matters. It is the channel through which motivation, collaboration, and performance flow. Without trust, motivation stalls.

As David Horsager writes in The Trust Edge:

“Where there is a lack of trust, everything costs more, takes more time, and creates more hassles.”

If we want stronger teams, healthier workplaces, and a more resilient community, we must deepen our emotional intelligence and connection with one another.
