Our Centre for Opportunity (CFO) participants wrapped up the summer with a beautiful hike in the mountains! 🏔️☀️

Everyone did an amazing job navigating the challenging terrain while enjoying the fresh air, sunshine, and each other’s company along the way.

It was a wonderful way to finish off a summer filled with adventure, new experiences, and time spent together! 🌲🥾

School is back in session at Calgary Quest School!

This week, we were thrilled to welcome students back to the classroom and officially kick off the 2026–2027 school year. It has been wonderful to see our campuses filled with familiar faces, along with many new faces joining the Quest community for the first time!

We’ve had a great first week getting settled into classrooms, reconnecting with friends and staff, and getting back into the school routine.

Welcome back to all of our returning students, and a very warm welcome to our new students and families! We’re so excited for the year ahead. 💙

Quest Adventure Camp had an incredible summer, with our campers enjoying a wide variety of activities, trying new experiences, and learning new skills along the way.
We’re so grateful to everyone who helped make this year’s camp such a success, especially our campers who brought so much energy and excitement each day.

Thank you for a fantastic summer - we can’t wait to do it all again next year! 💙

Our Centre for Opportunity participants have been busy volunteering and building new skills in the Sunalta community this summer! 🙌

Recently, participants volunteered with the , where they helped clean and reset five community bulletin boards with important local information.

Participants from our Maple Room also began their first volunteer shift at the Sunalta Community Association Hub coffee kiosk! ☕ During their shift, they worked alongside Hub staff to learn about tracking and managing inventory while gaining hands-on experience in a community-based setting.

The Hub coffee kiosk is a 100% community-owned social enterprise, with all profits going directly back into the neighbourhood to support initiatives such as food security, low-income supports, and accessible community events.

The CFO program provides a structured, group-based learning environment where participants aged 18–28 develop life skills, engage with their community, and gain the confidence needed for greater independence.

Our CFO participants did an amazing job at their kitchen volunteer shift earlier this Spring!

The Salvation Army kitchen in Calgary prepares and serves nutritious meals to individuals experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, and other challenges. We are so thankful to the Salvation Army kitchen for allowing our Maple room participants to help with food preparation and other kitchen tasks. Volunteer opportunities like this give CFO participants the opportunity to contribute to their community while building practical skills, working as a team, and gaining confidence in a real-world environment.
