Our little Change Makers turned kindness into action — making bracelets, cards, lemonade, cookies, and cakes to support the Alberta Children’s Hospital.

And together, we raised an incredible $11,647! 💛

SUMMER CURRICULUM IN ACTION!

Summer at CEFA is all about learning, exploring, and creating meaningful memories!

From our Lemonade Party 🍋 and outdoor painting 🎨 to water play 💦, camping adventures ⛺ and exciting Community Walks to the grocery store and bank 🛒🏦 — our students have been learning through real-life experiences, movement, creativity, and discovery.

Every activity is thoughtfully planned to encourage curiosity, independence, social skills, and a love for learning , while making the most of our beautiful summer days!

CEFA Weekend learning is in full swing at CEFA Early Years School Calgary Cornerstone! ✨
Our CEFA Weekend Program brings children together for two full days of curriculum-based learning, creativity, discovery, and fun.
From hands-on STEM explorations to Reading & Writing, Fine Arts, and CEFA Change Makers activities, our young learners are building confidence, curiosity, and real-world skills every weekend.
It’s an enriching early years experience designed to support the whole child — complete with chef-prepared nutritious meals.

Change Makers in action!

To celebrate International Yoga Day, our students participated in a special Yoga Challenge that encouraged balance, focus, and confidence. 💛

At CEFA, experiences like yoga are part of our commitment to developing Change Makers. Through weekly yoga sessions built into our curriculum, children strengthen their bodies, practice mindfulness, build resilience, and develop the self-awareness and emotional regulation they need to thrive in school and in life.

⚽ Learning through play, movement, and teamwork!

Inspired by the excitement of the World Cup, our students enjoyed a fun-filled Soccer Learning Experience as part of our Outdoor Structured Play program.

Beyond kicking the ball, children had the opportunity to develop gross motor skills, coordination, balance, listening skills, teamwork, confidence, and resilience—all while staying active and having fun outdoors.

At CEFA Cornerstone, our Mother’s Day celebration was a beautiful reflection of our Fine Arts Curriculum, where music, movement, expression, and creativity come together to create meaningful learning experiences and lasting memories.

From curiosity to discovery, our students experienced the wonder of life through our Hatching Experience at CEFA Cornerstone. 🐣✨

Over the past weeks, they carefully observed the incubation process and followed each stage of development as the chicks began to hatch. This meaningful hands-on learning opportunity encouraged curiosity, responsibility, and a deeper connection to the natural world.
