Chinook Toastmasters Club

We meet every Thursday evening at the Suncor Energy Centre, West Tower, 17th floor, at 150 6th Ave SW, 6.30-8.30pm. Guests are always welcome!

The Chinook Toastmasters Club is part of Toastmasters International, a non-profit organization which gives its members the opportunity to develop and improve their public speaking abilities through local club meetings, training seminars and speech contests. Toastmasters International includes more than 270,000 men and women in more than 13,000 clubs in more than 116 countries. Chinook Toastmasters has close to 25 active members.

Mission: To provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.

Covid-19 Can't Stop Chinook Toastmasters!
We had a successful online meeting on March 19, 2020.

Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases in the Calgary area, the Suncor Energy Centre is not available for the Chinook Toastmasters Club meetings; therefore, we will be holding March 19 and March 26 meetings online using the Zoom meeting tool, for current club members.

We encourage guests and look forward to meeting you. The program is based upon experiential learning, peer feedback self pacing toward your goals and helpful guidance. It is a journey.
