The Ambrose Writing Centre provides academic support in the four foundational literacy skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing. We believe that good communication involves not only good expression (grammar, punctuation, oral delivery, etc.) Accordingly, we strive to stimulate good critical thinking, capable research, and sound logic. We also acknowledge that effective communication strate
gies differ by discipline and look forward to serving students from all programs. Ambrose Tutoring Services offers support in subject-specific learning, especially in high-demand areas such as chemistry, philosophy, math and statistics, economics, and biblical languages. This program includes one-to-one tutoring and the Peer-Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) program.
