🎭⚡ What a night! ⚡🎭

Congratulations to our incredible Cassa Musical Theatre students on a fantastic dress rehearsal and performance last night! From the first entrance to the final curtain, you brought this haunting story to life with energy, heart, and so much theatrical spirit. 👏🖤

This summer, our stage belonged to The Tragic Tale of Frankenstein — a chilling story of great loneliness, cruel fate, and within it, a lesson for us all.

🔥🎭 The finishing touches on Victor’s fireplace! 🎭🔥

The world of Frankenstein is coming to life at Cassa Musical Theatre! Yesterday, Karen and Tess completed this beautiful centrepiece — complete with colourful stonework and some seriously dramatic flames. 🔥

From set design and costumes to acting, music, movement, and storytelling, our young artists are creating an entire theatrical world from the ground up. And it’s amazing to watch it all take shape!

We can’t wait to see Victor’s fireplace glowing on stage… and to see what happens around it! ⚡️🧟‍♂️🎭

🎭🧟 It’s Alive… and it’s off to a fantastic start! 🧟🎭

We’re thrilled to share that the Cassa musical “The Tragic Tale of Frankenstein” is off to an incredible start! From the energy of our cast and crew to the excitement of opening rehearsals, this production is already shaping up to be something truly unforgettable.

A huge shoutout to one of our amazingly talented mentors, who designed this incredible binder cover for the production. We absolutely love how it captures the eerie atmosphere—from the haunting moonlit graveyard to the iconic monster himself. It’s the perfect way to kick off what promises to be a spectacular performance!

We can’t wait to share more behind-the-scenes moments with you as we bring this classic story to life.

What a wonderful send-off for Dr. Laura Bell before she returned to New Jersey! ❤️

Dr. Bell & Ms. Kundert started the day with a delicious breakfast at the Saskatoon Berry Farm, followed by an afternoon exploring Heritage Park. One of the highlights was receiving permission to play the beautiful pianos throughout the park—including the organ in the Anglican Church and the grand piano in one of the historic homes, where they performed “Danny Boy”. 🎹✨

Thank you, Dr. Bell, for another incredible week of teaching at Cassa Piano Immersive and Cassa Adult Piano. We are so grateful for your talent, generosity, and inspiration.

She will not be returning to teach at Cassa Piano, but her legacy will continue on with Dr. Bell Distinguished Performing and Visual Arts Award. ❤️

The instructor after-party at Ms. Kundert’s ranch! Nothing beats unwinding with an amazing group of experts after an inspiring week. Great conversations, great company, and the perfect way to wrap up the Cassa Piano experience. We are all real-life friends.🥂🎶

What an incredible way to wrap up an unforgettable week at Cassa Piano Immersive! 🎹✨

Day 5 was the perfect culmination of an inspiring week together. We enjoyed final masterclasses and ensemble workshops, one last choir rehearsal, and the always-popular (and hilarious!) Cassa Jeopardy, before closing with a final recital that celebrated a week of remarkable musical growth, collaboration, and artistry.

A heartfelt congratulations to all of our performers, and a special congratulations to this year’s award winners and scholarship recipients. Your dedication, hard work, and passion for music have been truly inspiring.

Thank you to our outstanding faculty, dedicated volunteers, supportive families, and every student who made this week so memorable. The friendships, music-making, laughter, and learning shared throughout the week are what make the Cassa Piano Immersive so special.

We’re already looking forward to next year! Mark your calendars for July 19–23, 2027 because we can’t wait to do it all again!

Day 4 at Cassa Piano Immersive was nothing short of incredible! 🎹✨

We began the day exploring the art of musical storytelling with Gregg Pauley, lifted our voices together in choir rehearsals, and tapped into our creativity during an inspiring improvisation session with Jennifer Aumentado. We also enjoyed getting to know one another better through student biographies before putting the finishing touches on ensemble and solo repertoire in preparation for the evening.

The day culminated in two outstanding recitals, where every performer shared their hard work, artistry, and passion with confidence and heart. It was a joy to celebrate each student’s musical journey and witness the supportive community that has grown throughout the week.

What an unforgettable day—and what an amazing week it has been. So grateful for the music, the friendships, and all the moments of learning and inspiration. 💙🎶
