True Freedom is born when you let go of the gravity of the opinion of others.
I used to be a pleaser…
A pathetically weak man that placed more value on how others thought I should be rather than how I truly wanted to be.
I used to be a scared little mouse… that would only eat in the dark… and when the lights turned on, I’d scurry away and hide.
I used to crave validation from everyone.
And I mean EVERYone.
Running away from even the small possibility of judgement like a cockroach scurrying away under the kitchen cabinets.
My posts get a ton of support and shares from people that see the good in them. They also get some HATE… because people choose to see something different.
What they choose to see has nothing to do with me…
Because you see in life and business…
It’s not other people’s job to see the good in you.
It’s your job to see the good in you.
Women want to be pleased, but they don’t want a pleaser.
Men want to be respected, but they never respect a pleaser.
And a GREAT coach tells their clients what they NEED to hear. Not what they Want to hear.
This post is not to validate my controversial posts.
It’s to speak to all the people out there who are here to serve more than just themselves but are afraid to put themselves out there out of fear of what others may think.
Freedom doesn’t come from being liked…
It comes from doing what you know in your heart is right, whether others agree or not…
Many of the Agents that sign up for my challenges don’t make it through the first gates because of fear of what others will think if they do the assignments and being a pleaser. Those with faith in themselves take the next steps and gain even more strategies to expand their business and themselves.
AND they also walk away with a more profound sense of freedom than they have ever had before.

Some have been wondering how I came to running Free Five Day Challenges for Agents & Entrepreneurs.
Let me tell you a quick story about how I went from being an average agent to the #2 top producer in my office in less than a year.
At the time I wanted to take my life and business to new levels. I was struggling with my mindset and finding inspiration to do what was required. And I was getting more and more frustrated and ashamed with my results.
Then the bottom fell out from under me when I lost my motivation. I went from taking listings to taking naps. I went from flipping houses to flipping channels... Which meant I couldn't live my life to its fullest and honour God.
As you can imagine, I was in bad shape and desperate, but I wasn't ready to give up on my dream of creating an impactful life for myself, my family, community and the world.
Then I saw a FB post for a powerful personal growth event. I was all in as much as I could be.
Luckily I was supported and challenged by a coach to step up.
I discovered that when I do the easy things in life - life is hard, but when I do the hard things in life - life becomes easy.
At that point, everything changed!
I finally figured out how to:
• Get my mindset right
• Focus on what matters most to get results
• Support and challenge other people to get results
Because I discovered -when I do the easy things in life - life is hard but when I do the hard things in life - life becomes easy, I was able to:
• Become a top producer (and #2 in my brokerage that year)
• Create an outstanding life for myself and my wife
• Be an example of a life that works and have an impact on the world
Now I'm living my dream of creating an impactful life for myself, my family, community and the world and I never have to worry about being stuck in a mediocre rut.
