Little Chefs: From Fine Motor Skills to Sensory Salads!
Today was a wonderful day of discovery as our little explorers transformed simple kitchen scraps into a sensory masterpiece! We began indoors by honing fine motor skills, using safety scissors to carefully chop fruit peels and scraps.
The fun then moved outside to our sensory water station, where the children embraced their roles as "little chefs" to mix their clippings with dandelions and grass. It was a fantastic session of imaginative play and hands-on exploration that turned a "garden feast" into a rich learning experience!

In our space story, the children launched a shuttle by counting together and sent astronauts to the moon. The astronauts used rovers to dig into the lunar surface and discover magical space stones. We also learned that satellites fly in space so that we can talk to people all over the world. our space story, the children launched a shuttle by counting together and sent astronauts to the moon. Creating Swirling Galaxies
Using vibrant chalk on our space tuff tray, the children practiced their fine motor skills by drawing expansive spirals and nebulas. They layered colors and smudged the chalk to mimic the beautiful galaxies. It was a wonderful way to explore circular motions and color blending!
The highlight of our mission was connecting the stars. We talked about how ancient astronomers looked at the sky and saw patterns, then we tried it ourselves our names by connecting the stars.

Pete the Cat: Out of This World. Through an artistic process involving coloring and water mixture, children created planetary models, then further engaged in role-play as astronauts, mirroring Pete, by constructing their own spacesuits for a simulated space travel experience.
