My name is Emily, my background is in nursing, I work on a trauma unit here in Calgary, what I love most about nursing is the people. My interests include working out, playing sports, reading, and spending time with family and friends. In between this program and working I enjoy taking my pup ABBA for walks, painting, reading and sharing a drink with good friends. A little disclosure, my favourite band is ABBA. I have grown up in Calgary and although I love our city I would like to experience living aboard, traveling is something that excites me and immersing in a different cultures and meeting new people is something I really enjoy. In summary, I like to keep busy but this does not impact the fact that I am looking forward to planning some fun, exciting events.

We have got our eye on the Tiger this Lunar New Year! This year, 2022 is the year of the tiger. The Tiger symbolizes courageousness, assertiveness and generosity. Lunar new year is a 15 day celebration where family and friends come together to celebrate and welcome good fortune. Traditions include giving red envelopes of money called “hongbao”, fireworks, lantern festivals and the dragon dance.

Celine graduated from the University of Alberta and received a BA in Art History and Creative Writing. She has a passion for fine art and anything involving creativity. She loves her dog Pluto, and loves to read Plato (along with other poets).
Celine is interested in fashion, sustainability and tech. She hopes to understand how to solve overconsumption in the consumer market with the tools she gains in the MMgmt program. She wants work for a fashion house like Dior and create her own company.
