We are a lovely home-based preschool located in the quiet Neighbourhood of Aspen Woods, Calgary, backing onto an awesome environmental nature reserve. It's a beautiful, organic, happy place - an amazing place to imagine, discover, learn & play and fall in love with nature. 💚🍃

Happy Easter, Peeps! 🐣🌷
It’s been a while, but I wanted to pop in and wish all my favourite big and little people a very happy Easter!

I had a lovely play date with a sweet 5-year-old last week… we baked yummy little bird nest cookies, built a mini snowman, went sledding, and simply enjoyed some good old-fashioned fun together ❄️🤍

Moments like these fill my heart to the brim 💛

🌿🐛 A Wild Wednesday Farewell (for now!) 🐛🌿

Today was our very last Wild Wednesday with two of the most wonderful little explorers (and their 6-year-old siblings)— and what a day it was! We celebrated with a forest picnic, some very enthusiastic bug hunting, and even a leech sighting! 🐞🍃

It’s been an absolute joy spending the past two years with these boys — watching them grow into curious, confident, nature-loving humans has filled my heart in every way.

While this season of Wild Wednesdays has come to a close, I’m hoping that a new group of little adventurers might be ready to join me in the woods come fall! 🌲✨

Wild Wednesday is back! ☀️🐾🎨
After a lovely 3-week holiday, it felt so good to be back with my little adventurers today! We kicked things off with finger painting a huge Thimbleberry leaf I brought back from Seattle. 🌿 🎨

Then it was time to head outside in the sunshine. They were on the move—puddle jumping, fence climbing, and racing along the pathways like true explorers! 🌈🕵️‍♂️ They met five friendly dogs, watched bright yellow butterflies flutter by, found some dried-up worms (which were very interesting, of course), and even spotted two ducks swimming on the pond. 🐶🦋🦆

And yes, they made their usual stop to greet the very serious-looking fake owl. 👀🦉

Only two more Wild Wednesdays with these two sweethearts, and I’m already feeling the tug at my heartstrings. 💛 Going to miss these joyful little explorers and our magical mornings together.
