PCA hosted a Mini Manjha Making Night as part of our ongoing commitment to celebrating and sharing Punjabi culture within our campus community ✨

Members gathered for a hands on evening of learning and creativity, exploring the cultural significance behind manjha making while connecting with one another in a welcoming and inclusive space. Events like these allow us to preserve tradition, build community, and create meaningful cultural experiences beyond the stage.

Competing against some of the top collegiate bhangra teams, our dancers represented the University of Calgary with passion, precision, and Punjabi pride on a national stage. This achievement reflects months of discipline, resilience, and unwavering team spirit.

Thank you to our supporters, alumni, and community who continue to uplift us. We are proud to carry our culture wherever we go.

In September, the Punjabi Cultural Association (PCA) at the University of Calgary proudly hosted Punjabi Professionals Night, connecting students with accomplished community leaders for an inspiring evening of mentorship, discussion, and networking.

Students had the opportunity to learn from and engage with distinguished panelists, gain insights into their future paths, and build meaningful professional connections.

Thank you to our panelists and attendees for making the event a success! PCA is excited to continue creating spaces that foster learning, mentorship, and professional growth for students.

We had an amazing time hosting Jaggo Night! 🎉 With over 250 attendees, it was a night filled with joy, culture, and community spirit. A huge thank you to Punjab Insurance Calgary and Baldeep Sidhu for sponsoring this wonderful event. Your support made it all possible! Looking forward to more events that celebrate our rich Punjabi heritage!

Welcome to Puniabi Cultural Association! We focus on the celebration of Punjabi culture, which includes the customs, traditions, language, music, and art of the Punjabi people. The Punjabi people originate from the Punjab region, which spans across India and Pakistan, and have a rich cultural heritage that has been influenced by various religions, including Sikhism and Hinduism. Our aim is to promote a greater understanding and appreciation for the culture, while also providing a community for Punjabi people to connect and support one another here in Calgary!
