¿QUE EXAMEN LE PUEDO HACER A MI HIJO AUTISTA? Pregunta SUPER común, porque no hay un consenso general que pruebas indicar, para ver su salud general. No agrego RNM ni EEG, porque eso corresponde a neurología/neuropediatría En medicina funcional, recomendados las siguientes pruebas: - Convencionales de sangre, sin duda alguna. Desde hematología o hemograma hasta perfil hepático, marcadores inflamatorios inespecíficos como PCR o VSG, y algunas vitaminas como la 25-hidroxi OH - Pruebas de medicina funcional, como test de microbiota intestinal, test de ácidos organicos en o***a funcional, test de metilación de ADN, mineralograma (preferiblemente sangre, es más idónea, aunque se usa bastante la de cabello) - Pruebas Geneticas convencional: exoma clínico (en este incluso se descarta enfermedades metabólicas como fenilcetonuria), genoma, microarray, cariotipo. - La prueba epigenética de cabello NO mide la epigenética, he hablado de ello en stories y YouTube (busca en mi feed) - El Frat test para medir la autoanticuerpos del folato, se indica ya para pacientes dentro del espectro autista muy comprometidos en la parte cognitiva, lenguaje, epilepsias (nivel 3 y no todos los casos). - Hay otras pruebas en sangre, pero eso se tiene que evaluar el paciente. Incluso, las que mencioné se van realizando en cuanto se puedan. Por eso en la consulta se discute qué prueba es idónea para cada paciente El vídeo fue realizado debido a la GRAN demanda de preguntas y, para orientar un poco a los padres. Los tests funcionales SOLO los analiza médicos con formación en medicina funcional. P.D: es Zonulina, en el vídeo hubo un error al subirse, no es con S, mis disculpas. SOURDOUGH CHOCOLATE CHIP PUMPKIN PANCAKES 🥞🎃🧈 the fluffiest, most festive stack you’ll ever have!! Recipe (makes 8-10 pancakes) 1 cup buttermilk (or 1 cup of whole milk & 1 tbsp distilled vinegar mixed together) 3/4 cup pumpkin puree 1/2 cup active sourdough starter 1 egg 2 tbsp melted butter or oil 1 tsp vanilla 2 tbsp maple syrup 1 & 1/4 cup flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp baking soda 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice 1/4 tsp salt In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, pumpkin puree, sourdough starter, egg, melted butter or oil, vanilla, and maple syrup until smooth. Mix in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, and salt until a batter forms. Heat a skillet or pan over medium heat. Add a generous pat of butter (you know the pan is hot enough if the butter immediately starts sizzling) Coat the pan in the butter and pour in the batter 1/3 cup at a time. This is a thicker, stickier batter because of the sourdough starter, so you might need to use the bottom of the measuring cup to spread out the batter. Sprinkle dark chocolate chips on top (measure with your heart). Cook until the batter starts to bubble (about 2-3 minutes), and then flip to cook an additional 2-3 minutes. Looking for a fun-easy activity for your elementary music class? This one brought so much joy to my students this past week in summer camp… I just had to share with you too!! We also made other variations and even used other props. My students love the “Snail, Snail” song and parachute game, so I decided to find another chant or song we could use in the same way. Here’s what I came up with. I hope you like it and give it a try with your kiddos! If you’re going to use this in your class, make sure to teach your students when to stop. In our case, we stop at shoulder height so the parachute doesn’t reach the neck of the students sitting in the middle. Some teachers prefer to have students put their arms up—that’s totally fine too. It’s up to you what you teach. Either way, both options are safe and fun!
