PRIVATE DAYHOME IN COUGAR RIDGE

Kids’ Flock Dayhome is a safe, calm, friendly and loving dayhome. I am an experienced caregiver with 18 years of exposure in child care setting at home. I had the chance to work in a day home for 5 years and that made me decide to pursue and put up my own.
Kids’ Flock Dayhome is located in the community of Cougar Ridge and surrounding communities like Aspen, West Springs and Coach Hill SW. It is a 2-storey house in Cougar Ridge. The main level serves as the activity/play area, and feeding area. This bright and spacious house is perfect to allow the daylight to come in the morning and setting down in the backyard. All doors inside and outside of the house are gated securely for children’s safety. Also, two rooms upstairs are prepared for their afternoon naps.
I serve the children’s meals 4 times in a day that includes: breakfast, 2 snacks and a lunch. I made sure that I serve homemade meals, not out from the box instant meals, and follow or meet the required nutritional needs based on Canada Guide. If there is something you think that you can suggest or add to my menu, you are welcome to suggest as long as the food is safe and will not trigger allergy of any kind.

Our daily routine consists of activities but not limited to: circle/music time, arts and crafts, and story time, and going outside (if the weather permits). We usually go for outdoor play in the backyard or to the nearest playground. There is also a specific topic for each month to ensure that children have something to learn while making friends. That way, they can enjoy their stay and establish positive views in life at early stage so they can manage to adapt, become more sociable, and make them more aware about their surroundings.

I have spots for full time, part time and drop in. Hours of operation are 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM from Monday - Friday. Should you want to drop your kids earlier, please arrange for me to accommodate your requests.
As a child caregiver, I have great references regarding my past employment. I have my CPR and First Aid Certificates and Police Check Clearance.
