Umbrella Craft Activity π¦π¦βπ§
Today, the children enjoyed a fun and creative umbrella craft activity in our day home. They used colorful paper to make bright red umbrellas and added blue paint prints around them to represent raindrops. This activity helped children develop their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and creativity while exploring a weather theme. The children were excited to use paint and create their own unique artwork. We talked about rainy days, umbrellas, and how they help keep us dry during wet weather. Through this hands-on activity, the children practiced following directions, expressing themselves through art, and learning about different weather conditions. Everyone had a wonderful time creating their beautiful umbrella pictures, and we are proud of their effort, imagination, and participation. These lovely crafts are now displayed for everyone to enjoy. βπ§οΈπ¨

For our Motherβs Day craft activity, the children created beautiful flower bouquets using their handprints, paint, and colorful paper. First, the children explored different colors and used their fine motor skills to stamp flower petals with paint. They carefully added dots and designs to make each flower unique and special. The children also practiced cutting, folding, and gluing paper to create flower pots, which helped strengthen their hand-eye coordination and creativity. Heart stickers were added to show love and appreciation for their mothers.
During this activity, the children expressed their emotions and talked about why their moms are special to them. They enjoyed choosing colors, sharing materials with friends, and proudly showing their artwork. This craft supported creativity, social interaction, language development, and fine motor development. The children were excited and engaged throughout the activity and felt proud to make a meaningful handmade gift for Motherβs Day.
