I’m sharing this because I know that so many of you know what I am talking about and have experienced something similar - know that if this rings a bell, it is okay, in fact, it's mandatory to admit to your mistakes.
Your kids need to know that you make mistakes and will own up to them when they happen.
This builds connection, trust in the relationship, and trust in their own instincts.
Moreover, kids learn by example and that is YOU!
