Thank you so much to everyone who has already signed up to volunteer for our upcoming Casino Fundraiser on November 7 & 8! We are so grateful for the incredible support our community has shown — many of our shifts have already been filled thanks to you.

We still have a few volunteer spots left that need to be confirmed in order for the event to run smoothly. Every position is essential, and your time makes a direct impact on our students by helping fund field trips, classroom technology, and special in-school learning experiences.

If you haven’t had a chance to sign up yet, please consider giving just one shift of your time. No experience is required — all training is provided on site, and a meal is included for volunteers. It’s also a fun way to meet other parents and contribute to something that truly benefits our school community.

Casino - November 7 & 8
We are excited to share that our school has been given the opportunity to volunteer at the upcoming Casino on November 7 & 8. This event is one of the most important fundraisers we participate in, and the funds raised allow us to significantly reduce the amount of other fundraising we do throughout the year. These dollars go directly back to our students, helping cover the cost of field trips, classroom technology, and in-school experiences that are not typically funded by the CBE.

In order for this event to be a success, we need to fill all volunteer shifts. Each volunteer position is essential, and without your support, we risk losing out on this incredible opportunity for our school.

We understand that November is a busy time for families, and with the potential teacher strike, we may not be able to send multiple reminders. That’s why we’re asking now: if you’re able to give just one shift of your time, it will have a lasting impact on every student at our school.

No prior experience is needed - training will be provided, and meals are included for volunteers. It’s also a great way to meet other parents and contribute in a very meaningful way.

Still time to order those beautiful greeting cards that include everything you need to make a celebration cake in 1 minute - just add water! More than just a card, the recipient receives a delicious experience to go with it! You can also order just the cake kits without the cards if you want some for party favours or a quick Friday night snack.

This fundraiser is by paper form or email. Print off the order form image or collect a form from the office. Order forms can be sent into the office or sent to [email protected]. Payment can be cash or etransfer. If sending an etransfer, send it to [email protected].

BBQ season has arrived! This fundraiser is still open and SJF receives a portion of the proceeds from the food you order. Order some delicious food and help support our school. You can order online, and the food is delivered to your house on a date/time that works for you.

· Smaller pack sizes are available, so not a “fill your freezer”.

· Meats come from Centennial Foods including AAA Canadian Beef, Chicken Fingers, Stuffed Chicken Breast, Chicken Wings, and many other products.
· Bacon comes from SYSCO FOODS or GFS which is supplied by OLYMEL. All Bacon is center cut and restaurant quality. Much better than retail bacon.
