Sensory play may be messy… but there is so much learning happening in those little hands.
5 benefits of sensory play:
🌈 Encourages creativity
Children get to explore, imagine, build, mix, pour, and create in their own way.
✋ Builds fine motor skills
Scooping, squeezing, pinching, rolling, and pouring all help strengthen the small muscles needed for writing, dressing, and everyday independence.
💬 Supports language development
Sensory play introduces new words like soft, sticky, smooth, full, empty, wet, dry, squishy, and rough.
🧠 Strengthens problem-solving skills
Children experiment, test ideas, compare textures, and figure out how materials move, change, and work.
🤍 Supports emotional regulation
Hands-on sensory activities can be calming, grounding, and a wonderful way for children to reset.
Which sensory activity is always a hit in your house? Tell us below!

Outdoor play does more than help children burn energy — it helps them regulate, reset, and reconnect. 🌿
Fresh air, open space, natural light, and movement all give little bodies the chance to release big feelings in a healthy way. Whether they’re running, climbing, digging, exploring, or simply taking a quiet moment in nature, outdoor play supports emotional regulation by helping children feel calmer, more grounded, and more in control.
Sometimes the best learning happens under the trees, in the grass, and with a little dirt on their hands!

We’re celebrating the love, care, and comfort that children receive from the special people in their lives. 💐
Mother’s Day can look different for every family, and we want to honour all of the moms, grandmas, aunties, caregivers, bonus parents, and special grown-ups who help our little ones feel safe, supported, and loved.
Wishing you a gentle and beautiful weekend filled with love, however your family celebrates. 🤍
