Our numbers don’t lie!🤭✨

6 years of showing up for our patients… this is what it actually looks like:

• 500+ RMTs trained across Canada since 2019
• 31,000+ patients treated
• 34,000+ treatments provided
• 2,500+ oncology treatments for 250+ oncology patients, from children to later stage adults
• 15,000+ treatments for 1,200+ patients living with disabilities

We built Same Stars Academy because the patients we serve deserve practitioners who actually know how to show up for them. Clinicians who are educated, prepared, and ready for the patients most practices turn away or don’t know how to treat.💛

We don’t market false promises, or techniques that claim to cure it all. We market real work, supporting real patients, with a team that genuinely cares! That’s it, that’s the whole thing!💫

➡️ “It’s ok to cry. Invisible illnesses are so tough, but I want you to know I believe you”.⠀

My personal fave? ⠀

It sucks, it’s hard and it is not fair.⠀
⠀
Because it’s not. ⠀
⠀
Migraine is neurological disorder that can morph into a chronic state, meaning 15 or more pain or symptom days a month. Imagine living half of your days in disabling pain, or dealing with symptoms and side effects that make it challenging to function (at best). ⠀
⠀
So yes, it sucks. And misinformed suggestions or comments tend to hit…not so well with the migraine community. ⠀
⠀
Even if you mean well, suggesting they just need some more water or that they should get outside for a walk can be far more harmful than helpful. We should be validating migraine patients’ experience, not spreading misinformation around cures or home remedies. ⠀

Let’s ask them what they need from us. Stop shaming them for taking medications. Create a safe space where they can feel comfortable. And make sure they feel heard 🧠🍋⠀
