Happy Birthday, Xena! It’s a purrr-fect day to celebrate our Canada lynx as she turns 14! 🐾 🥳
Xena is known for her striking tufted ears, oversized paws, and watchful personality. She’s a favourite among guests and staff alike!
Fun fact: Canada lynx have extra-large furry paws that act like natural snowshoes, helping them walk across deep snow while hunting in the wild! ❄️🐾
And the excitement doesn’t stop here - Xena and Artemis will soon be getting a brand new habitat as construction on Project Carnivora begins this summer! We can’t wait to create an exciting new space for our lynx to explore and for guests to enjoy. With a water feature and natural landscape, this new habitat is going to be pawesome!
