• You will see the children working independently as reflective and mindful children, as well as collaboratively to support one another, solve problems and think creatively. We support your child in being comfortable away from home, to learn how to share materials and ideas, how to be patient, and how to use our voices to get our needs met and conflicts solved.

• Children who are part of Little Forest Dwellers will experience a nurturing environment where they feel safe, supported and encouraged in their daily routine. Their day will consist of structure while still ensuring free play time to explore both indoor and outdoor environments.

• The learning experiences will accommodate multiple learning styles, develop fine and gross motor skills, encourage problem-solving skills, improve communication and relationship building skills, and develop numeracy and literacy skills.

• Our hope is that through a cooperative childcare program, where parent involvement is encouraged, we will be adding to the sustainability and health of our community. Parents will feel supported and heard. They will be provided with daily reports so they can see examples of how their children are learning and exploring.
