Last but not least, Jamie Hering! A Ski Cross standout who earned a spot at the FIS Junior World Championships this year, Jamie brings determination and focus to everything he does. A loyal friend and supportive teammate, he's someone others can always count on, both on and off the course. Congratulations, Jamie! 💚🐾

Our Big Dogs have made it to the last day of finals! Huge kudos to their dedication and hard work as they powered through the home stretch of the school year. From final exams to final projects, they're ending the year on a high note.

In Jesse's Environmental Science class, students celebrated their learning with a science fair, putting their aquaponics tank systems on display and sharing their projects with the CVA community. 🌱🐟

Next up, Sofia Murray! An alpine racer and proud Canadian, Sofia pursues her goals with determination while always maintaining a positive spirit. She’s someone you can count on, bringing enthusiasm, optimism, and a steady presence wherever she goes. Her energy has a way of making every room a little brighter. Congratulations, Sofia! 💚🐾

Students in Kathy’s Geometry class recently completed their “Who I Am in Geometry” quilting project, combining mathematics, creativity, and personal storytelling.

Using geometric shapes, symmetry, transformations, scale, and repeating patterns, students designed and sewed quilt squares representing their personalities, interests, and hobbies. Together, the individual squares became one collaborative class quilt showcasing that math is not just something you solve, it can also be something you create. 🐾💚

One last adventure before their next chapter begins. Our seniors are Cape Cod-bound for their Senior Trip! ☀️🌊

Graduation week is here, and we have just a few remaining members of the Class of 2026 to celebrate! 🎓

Next up, Derek Barbie. A core member of the Alpine Team since 7th grade, Derek is the kind of person who makes a lasting impact on everyone around him. He cares deeply about his peers and has a gift for finding just the right words to uplift the CVA community. Whether on the mountain or around campus, Derek has a way of leading with confidence while always putting others first. When he sets his mind to something, there is nothing he can’t do. Congratulations, Derek! 💚🐾

From the mountains to the ocean, our Middle School squad couldn’t get enough of the waves on their surfing trip to Black Point. 🏄‍♂️ As the school year wraps up, these Big Dogs are fully in surf mode, hanging loose as the year winds down.

MTB trails are opening and mountain bike season is officially here!

A group of Big Dogs headed to Highland Mountain Bike Park to kick off the season and explore their lift-accessed trail network. 🐾💚

Friend of CVA, Gary LaChance, honored the Class of 2026 with a heartfelt gift to celebrate their journey at CVA. 🐾💚

In partnership with Olympic Champion and CVA alumnus Seth Wescott ’94, each senior received a framed and signed photo commemorating their time as Big Dogs.

Thank you to Gary for his incredibly thoughtful gesture, and to Seth and the Wescott family for helping make this special moment possible for our seniors.
