Limited spots means all children will receive an ample amount of 1 on 1 time to explore whatever ideas may come to their minds!

We offer a homemade menu designed with the help of my husband, a Red Seal Chef, that includes breakfast, lunch & 2 snacks. With an emphasis on fresh ingredients and a diverse diet the menu can be modified for any and all intolerances, allergies and religious exemptions.

There are 2 floors open to the children in my home including a wonderful playroom set up with a wide range of toys and materials for open ended crafts and play as well as a separate room for children that requires naps. A fenced backyard allows for outdoor play and several close parks, including Fishcreek and our local lake let us take long walks to stretch, explore our local community and enjoy nature throughout the seasons .

Being able to take the children outside and into the neighborhood is one of the best parts of summer! We spend at least one day a week out and about for an adventure, giving the kids a chance to play on different playground items and explore the natural world. We do trips through Fish Creek Park, to our local lake, Sommerset Playgrounds & Splash Park as well as trips to both the Central Library and the Fish Creek Library.

During our adventure days children also have the chance to play and begin to develop feelings of fellowship with other groups of children and develop stronger bonds with each other. Within these fun filled days they are given the freedom through play to develop both new and existing skills and abilities.

Thursday Game Day!

Our game today is Monkey Around: The Wiggle & Giggle Game

It is a perfect introduction to board games for toddlers, it's short and takes only a few minutes to play and is very straightforward. Everyone picks a card and we get to act out different scenarios, many of which involve the plush banana.

Besides, during game time and playtime, we also bring this game out during transition periods where kids may have to wait for others.

Here's a quick and easy activity!
Take all those empty easter eggs you now have and create a matching game with a little piece of tape.
You could do:
🥚Upper case & lower case letter's (as seen below)
🥚Numerals & dots
🥚Numerals & written numbers
🥚Colours
🥚Simple Math equations
🥚Shapes

To add a little more difficulty mix the egg colours so each correct pair is two colours.

Here in our little book nook in our playroom is where we keep the majority of out children's books. The bottom 2 shelves is where we do a weekly roation. The bottom shelf has board books for infants & toddler, while the second shelf is for our older children.
