Our Grade 6 students recently had the opportunity to spent the day at the YouthLink Police Centre as part of our leadership program. Throughout the day, students explored topics such as healthy relationships, positive decision making and strategies for staying safe in a variety of environments, including the digital world. They also had the opportunity to think critically and work collaboratively while solving a real legal case scenario. It was an engaging and meaningful learning experience for all!

Our Grade 8 students have been working on a Medicine Wheel art project that explores the importance of balance and caring for their whole selves. Through discussions and creative expression, students reflected on ways to support their mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. They demonstrated thoughtful understanding of how balance contributes to healthy relationships, personal growth, and overall wellness.

3D shapes came to life in the Primary Wing the last few weeks! Students built cubes with modeling clay, created pyramids using marshmallows and toothpicks, and explored vertices, edges, and faces with wooden blocks. So much hands-on learning, creativity, and fun as we discovered the world of 3D shapes together!
