CCJA was proud to visit Estevan, Saskatchewan—the hometown of one of our recent graduates, Ella—alongside her at the Southeast College campus.
Having Ella join us to share her journey from student to graduate brought a powerful, full-circle moment to the visit. Her commitment and perseverance are exactly what define the path toward a career in law enforcement, and it was inspiring for future students to hear that story firsthand.
We are incredibly excited for all of our graduates and current students as they continue pursuing their goals in the criminal justice profession.
A sincere thank you to Southeast Saskatchewan for the outstanding hometown hospitality and energy—you made this visit truly memorable.
And to Ella—thank you for representing CCJA with professionalism and pride. Wishing you the very best of luck and continued success in your recruitment journey.

On April 28th, the Canadian Criminal Justice Academy (CCJA) had the opportunity to visit the Southeast College Campus in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, where we connected with students and shared insights into our Criminal Justice Diploma program and the pathways it creates toward a career in policing and public safety.
Today, April 29th, we’re continuing that momentum at the Southeast College Campus in Estevan, Saskatchewan. We’re especially proud to be joined by recent CCJA graduate Ella Gudmundson, who represents what commitment, discipline, and perseverance can achieve.
Ella’s journey is a strong reminder that success in law enforcement doesn’t happen by chance—it’s built through preparation, resilience, and the right training environment. A CCJA education is designed to challenge, develop, and position students for meaningful careers in policing and beyond.
We look forward to meeting more future candidates and continuing to build the next generation of professionals in criminal justice.

Yesterday, we had the privilege of visiting the Guru Nanak Gate Campus alongside one of our own—Harjaap Boparai, a graduate of their school and current student at the Canadian Criminal Justice Academy (CCJA).
Harjaap shared his journey from high school to post-secondary, offering an authentic and relatable perspective on student life, learning, and the opportunities that come with pursuing a path in criminal justice. His ability to connect with students was immediate and spoke candidly about both the challenges and rewards of the journey made a meaningful impact.
At CCJA, we believe that the most powerful stories come from those who have walked the path—and Harjaap exemplifies that. Thank you to the staff and students at Guru Nanak Gate Campus for the warm welcome and engaging conversations.
We look forward to continuing to build strong relationships with schools and supporting students as they explore their futures in public safety and service.
Harjaap was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation from Ms. Singh and Mr. Vikram (Harjaap’s DNO), the Vice Principal and advocate for Harjaap. Well done Sir.

Today’s CCJA Fi****ms Familiarization and Introduction to Handgun Shooting was an outstanding success. Our enthusiastic students demonstrated safe handgun techniques, marksmanship, fundamentals of handgun operation, and range discipline in a very controlled and professional environment.
There was no shortage of fun and learning—plenty of rounds downrange, strong focus on safety, and a lot of confidence built throughout the afternoon. For most, this was our first time handling and shooting, and all rose to the challenge.
A sincere thank you to our dedicated fi****ms instructors. Your professionalism, mentorship, and commitment to training the next generation of justice professionals made this experience truly exceptional.
Stay tuned for CCJA’s 1st Annual Biathlon (running and handgun) competition. Invitational going out to criminal justice students from Bow Valley College, Mount Royal University, Lethbridge Polytechnic, and our CCJA students.
Mission to Learn. Duty to Serve.
