We have had a creative week. Practicing our fine motor skills with our “Dots for the letter D”, Drumming on the Drums and turning the pages of our “Don’t push the button” book. We enjoyed grocery shopping and practicing asking for different foods, remembering to say thank you and turn taking as a cashier. We have been working on our letter sounds and even enjoyed dancing to the “days of the week” song. Hope everyone has a great day ☀️!!!!

So many fun activities to talk about. We made our very own fall trees using q-tips and paint. We also made our very own pumpkins using sponges. We’ve spent a lot of time outdoors exploring, catching lady bugs, drawing with chalk and using sticks and rocks to make our own drums. We have been practicing our scissor skills. Books are always fun to look at and read. We have been practicing colours and shapes, using the shape sorted and play doh.
Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! 😀

We’ve been pretty busy over the last few weeks. Lots of outdoor play, colouring with chalk, finding caterpillars and ladybugs, checking out the bumblebees. We love cleaning the outdoor toys with soap and water. We enjoy swinging, playing “red light green light” and “what time is it Mr.wolf”. We are never too tired for a game of tag or just kicking the soccer ball or throwing the football. Craft is one of our favourite times, we’ve made our very own monsters, whales and giraffe. We’ve been practicing our colours, numbers and letters. Our favourite songs are “one little finger” “sleeping bunnies” and “old McDonald had a farm”. We hope everyone has been having as good of a summer as we are.
Have a great week !

Fri-Yay! So much fun was had outdoors this week. We had a fun water day that included a water table, small pool and of course water shooters and fishing. We enjoyed playing in the sand, swinging, skipping and playing soccer. We also enjoyed painting rocks outside too. Blowing bubbles 🫧 is always a good time. We made our very own flower craft using plastic forks. Pop up pirate is a fun game for all, great turn taking game. We also enjoyed dancing inside and outside.
Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend 🏝️!

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! The past 2 weeks have been a blast. We got to enjoy lots of outdoor time. We have been busy swinging, sliding, drawing with chalk and playing soccer. We played in a water sensory bin with animals, sponges and cups. This week we made our very own lemonade craft since it has been so hot outside. We have been dancing to “old Mac Donald” and “Baby Shark”. We enjoy looking at “seek and find” books. We’ve been practicing counting and naming animals. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Such a fun week. We got to enjoy the beautiful weather and spent a good part of our days outside. We enjoyed playing in the sand box, colouring with chalk, climbing, crawling and sliding. We even made a birthday cake out of sand and used sticks as the candles. We also like going on wagon rides. We made our own circle spin art and we did some kids yoga too. We hope everyone has a great weekend and a Happy 🇨🇦 Day!!!

Here are a few of our favourite lunch time meals. We like to try a variety of different foods. Now that summer is here our lunches will look a bit different with wraps, salads, sandwiches and fruits and vegetables. Sometimes it’s the simplest food that the children like most. We do our own version of Lunchables (crackers, cheese, meat, fruit/vegetables. We also like to make homemade pizza and put our own toppings on. When the children are involved in either choosing the lunch or snack, or when they help prepare the fruit or vegetables, they tend to eat more because they took part in preparing the food. The children like to help rinse the fruit/vegetables and sometimes the older ones like using a plastic knife (with supervision) to cut the fruit/vegetables. They also like to help add seasonings or sauce to the dishes as well. Not only is it a great help, but they get to be part of the process as well!

Friday already !!!! This week went by so fast, we unfortunately had an illness come through but we made it. We enjoyed pretend play, singing, dancing. What else could our toy bins be used for, sitting in of course 😆. We spent a lot of time outdoors, we played with bubbles, swung on the swings, slide down the slide and even played some tag. We also like making sandcastles in the sand pit.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
