🌿 Nature Sensory Play 🌸

The children explored our outdoor space and collected grass, leaves, flowers, and little sticks to create their own nature recipes! They enjoyed scooping, mixing, sorting, and using their imaginations while discovering different colours, textures, and smells.

A beautiful way to learn, create, and connect with nature through play! 💚

🫧🧼 Clean Hands, Happy Hands!

As we get ready for our exciting experiment next week, the children learned about the importance of good hygiene and how to wash their hands carefully and properly.

They absolutely loved this fun, hands-on activity! The fresh scent of the soap and the soft, bubbly foam immediately captured their attention and turned an everyday routine into a wonderful sensory experience. Through play and exploration, the children learned that clean hands help keep our bodies healthy and stop germs from spreading. 👐✨

🍎🐜 Amazing Adventures with the Letter A!

We had so much fun exploring the letter A! The children practised recognizing its shape, listening to its sound, and discovering exciting words that begin with A—like apple, ant, alligator, and airplane. ✈️🐊

Through music, movement, colouring, and playful activities, we turned early literacy into a joyful learning adventure! Every letter opens the door to a whole new world of words. ❤️✨

🍅❤️ Red, Ready, and Delicious!

Our little gardeners had so much fun picking tomatoes while learning all about the colour red! Their special challenge was to look carefully and choose only the ripe red tomatoes, leaving the green ones on the plant so they could continue growing. We picked only two green tomatoes at the beginning, and after that, everyone did an amazing job choosing the red ones! 👏

We also talked about making healthy food choices and learned that before enjoying fresh food from the garden, we must wash our hands and make sure our tomatoes are washed too. 🧼🍅

This hands-on experience was filled with colour recognition, focus, healthy choices, responsibility, and so much joyful learning! 🌱✨

The children had so much fun painting and colouring ice cubes! 🌈 This exciting sensory and creative activity allowed them to explore colours, cold textures, and colour mixing while strengthening their fine motor skills, concentration, and imagination.

Since the ice cubes slowly melt, the children were extra focused and excited to finish their beautiful creations before they disappeared! A simple activity filled with creativity, discovery, and joyful learning. 🥰✨

It’s hard to believe that you have already been part of Mano’s Dayhome for a whole year—and what a fun and joyful year it has been! You bring so much happiness and energy into our days, especially with your love for music and dancing. 🎶💃

Whenever I forget to turn on the music, you go straight to the speaker to remind me! Then you hold our hands and invite everyone to dance with you. There is always a special “Roman moment” when you call us together to dance and celebrate—and today, we are all coming together to celebrate YOU! 🥳
