This is a time of year to be thankful… I am thankful for the love and strong words of support on this journey.
I am thankful for those who took the time to read,share and support my story.
Still a long way to go but still pushing forward.

The journey begins with a consult.
During this consult we determine if this is the correct path based on health,mentality and what are our best options.
Then off to blood work for literally everything under the sun. A jajillion viles of blood later.
Another consult to discuss results. Make sure everything is up to pare before moving forward.
Now ultra sounds. To check that everything looks good also to count and confirm healthy follicles.
(Picture the o***y looks like a raspberry. Has lil hairs all over the outside that is where the eggs live and grow. Not on the inside like most believe)
A good healthy reproductive system will have about 10-12 good follicles. Some like myself who has PCOS had too many. Which is why it’s hard to naturally conceive. But great for IUI/IVF.
I started with 26 follicles, I now have 22. Age depreciation. Dang that’s a lot!
With everything coming up solid, now it’s the convo of procedure and you guessed it! Money….
Step 1 egg retrieval …15g
Step 2 donor s***m …6-20g
Step 3 inseminate eggs to create embryos…2g
Step 4 locate a surrogate….priceless! (If friend or family cost would be different vs agency could run up 100g)
Step 5 legal surrogacy contract -legal guidance for both sides …15-17g
Step 6 testing and insemination of the surrogate ….15g/attempt
Then good thoughts and vibes, all fingers and toes crossed. If it takes then there’s a lot of other expenses and time to be invested moving forward.

I woke up this morning and I was overwhelmed by the response in the support of all you lovelies around me.
I never knew how stressed and how fearful I was until I woke up this morning to my first couple donations and overwhelmed with emotion relief.
when I was putting this together I was doubting whether or not it could work or not it made sense. Whether it was safe to bare my story so openly.
I cried alot this morning from the emotions. I want to help, to educate and share cause If I can help one person who is going thru the same thing or help someone understand more the experience of infertility and surrogacy so they can be part of the movement of change or even be a support for someone in their lives effected.
Then baring it all, the fear, the tears, the scrutiny is worth every bit.
