Providing creative and engaging overnight and day camp experiences in the heart of Hamilton's beautiful Dundas Valley forest since 1960

Canterbury Hills Camp is an Ancaster based summer camp that has been operating for over 60 years. Our unique camping experience provides opportunities for children and youth to build community, engage in experiential learning and increase environmental awareness. Camper groups are given the opportunity to plan their schedules for the week based on their personal preferences and unique ideas, making every week at camp new and exciting!

is the best! ๐Ÿ”

We have a rotating menu that often contains fan favourite foods like mac and cheese, chicken burgers, grilled cheese, wraps, pizza rolls and so much more!

Every meal comes with veggies or salad! (Or fruit at breakfast)

Do you have paint cans taking up space at your house? We want it! ๐ŸซŸ Half full, quarter full, all the way full - we will take them off your hands.

Drop off half used paint cans this weekend near the workshop - ideally bright colours - to help us beautify spaces around our camp ๐Ÿ•๏ธ like our drama room ๐Ÿ’š๐ŸซŸ

We still have 3 spots open for teen camp boys!

Teen camp is our longest camp program, with campers sleeping over for a whole 8 nights. ๐Ÿ’ค

Teen camp features many aspects that are unique to teen camp! This includes, but is not limited to:

- Two nights of campout (compared to one in our typical overnight program)
- โ€œChoice chunksโ€ (Campers can split from their group and pick which activity they would like to participate in. This could include woodworking, fitness, specialized activities at our rock-wall and more! The options change every year!)
- Nighttime activities, typically in our overnight program, activities stop after our campfire. At teen camp, there is opportunity to extend the day and do more fun things
- Canoe trip
