Deuteronomy 32:18-20
You deserted the Rock, who fathered you;
you forgot the God who gave you birth.
The Lord saw this and rejected them
because he was angered by his sons and daughters.
“I will hide my face from them,” he said,
“and see what their end will be;
for they are a perverse generation,
children who are unfaithful.

I love you, Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield[b] and the horn[c] of my salvation, my stronghold.
I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise,
and I have been saved from my enemies.

He is worthy in every season.🌿

Sometimes the things you care about most can start to feel like they all depend on you.

You want things to go well for the people in your life. You want to help, support, and keep things steady when life feels uncertain. And because you care so deeply, it’s easy to start carrying more than you ever meant to.

Maybe you replay conversations long after they’re over, wishing you could fix them...

More often, it means you care deeply. But somewhere along the way, caring quietly turns into carrying — carrying outcomes you can’t control, carrying pressure that keeps your mind spinning, carrying responsibility for things only God was meant to hold.

But when everything starts to feel like it depends on you … that’s not peace.

That’s pressure.
That’s control.

But here’s the good news:
Peace doesn’t come from managing everything better.

It comes from releasing what was never yours to carry in the first place.

He knows the thoughts you fight. He sees the overthinking, the doubt, the moments you carry things longer than you should because letting go feels hard. And still, He stays.

God doesn’t shame you for being human. He doesn’t demand perfection before He shows up. He meets you right where you are, even on the days you feel unsure, tired, or behind.

“The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love.” -Psalm 145:8

When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”

They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”

“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”

Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Then he ordered his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah.
