I would like to give the new parents of Hillcrest an opportunity to get in before the rest of Airdrie.
Miss Alisha’s’ Day Home is in the 5th year running. It is very rare and exciting that there are multiple spots available in our Private basement Day home in hillcrest.
Miss Alisha’s is Private due to the excellent standard of care and attention to detail that is paid toward each and every child that walks through the schools doors.
Whether a child who is 10 months or 24 months old joins our little family, Miss Alisha creates a specific lesson plan that is geared directly toward that child. This little explorer who is ready for the days to be full of gross motor development, creating, learning and growing their cognitive mind. Your child would be flourishing and thriving with new skills and tasks being mastered daily in all aspects of their development. Fine motor as well as sensory skills are developed through levels of play and experience as well as experiments with objects and ideas.
Miss Alisha gives the child the skills and confidence to master skills before their milestone suggests. Potty training being accomplished between the ages of 18 months and well before age 2 and 3.
Writing and letter recognition happening as early as 12 and 13 months of age.
These are only a few examples of what Miss Alisha’s is all about. A home away from home that provides a safe, inclusive, exciting place to learn and grow. With Miss Alisha’s Day Home you are getting a pre-school teacher that is on your side to make your life easier.

Miss Alisha’s is open Monday-Friday from 6:30am-4:30pm. The day is structured with times for free play, circle time, themed activities, snack & lunch breaks, sensory play, quiet/reading time and arts & crafts. We are closed all stat holidays.
Miss Alisha will provide Breakfast, Lunch and snacks through out the day. I provide care for children 10 months - 10 years old. We can arrange transport if there is a need.

Miss Alisha’s offers lots of free play, arts and crafts, music, sensory as well as outdoor play and field trips. We are a pet friendly home with 3 dachshunds. Cocoa beans is 9 years old and Baby Irie is 7 years old abs our newest addition Bam bam who is 2 months old.

Miss Alisha has 20+ years of experience with children in all ages and stages. Miss Alisha has a Social work diploma and a level 3 as a Child Development Supervisor. Miss Alisha has worked in crises intervention situations as well as nannying, preschool and day care. With years of experience I designed the space after what works in the classroom. The day home is designed with all of this in mind. It is the perfect place for children to feel safe to express their true self and speak their mind.
Miss Alisha has her criminal checks, childcare First-aid and CPR as well as excellent references.
