🌕✨ Two Full Moons in May! ✨🌕
Did you know that May 2026 has two full moons? The first, called the Flower Moon, appeared on May 1 and is named for the abundance of blooming flowers this time of year. 🌸🌼
The second full moon on May 31 is known as a Blue Moon—a special event that happens every few years when two full moons occur in the same month. 💙
Fun fact: the moon doesn’t actually turn blue—the name simply means something rare or unique!

May is Mental Health Matters 💚📚
From The Science of Breakable Things to Guts & Louder Than Hunger, these powerful reads remind students:
✨ It’s okay to not be okay
✨ You are not alone
✨ Your story matters
Let’s keep breaking the stigma. One conversation & one book at a time.

🐾💛 How are you feeling today? students checked in using fun “cat” 🐱 & “rubber duck” 🐥 scales to remind us that feelings change & that’s okay! Mental health isn’t a straight line, so let’s support one another & take it one step (or paw!) at a time. 💬✨

We had a great afternoon exploring Big Hill Springs, even with a bit of chilly, rainy weather! 🌳🌧️ Our students had a wonderful time learning and connecting outdoors.
Thank you to our families for your support and for helping make experiences like this possible! 💛
