Paragraph: Our National Flag.

Every free nation has a own flag. It is the symbol of independence. Bangladesh is a free country. So she has got a flag. Her people feel proud of it. Its shape is rectangular. Its shape is 10:6 or 5:3. It is of different sizes according to its use. The flag is hoisted everyday on top of our important government buildings. It is also hoisted everyday of educational institutions. It is hoisted everywhere of the independence day and victory day. The national flag is kept half most on the occasions of National Mouring Days. There are two colours. It is green and red. The green is the symbol of the youth and the red is the symbol of the sacrifices of the freedom fighters who laid down their lives. We salute the national flag. It reminds us that I am a citizen of a free country. So I feel proud of our national flag.

Paragraph: International Mother Language Day.

Our mother tongue is Bangla. We gained it by dint of a great struggle that was held on 21 February in 1952. This is a great day for Bangladeshi people. The Pakistani rulers wanted to make Urdhu the state language of than Pakistan ignoring Bangla. The patriot people of than East Pakistan protested against this " The Mother Language Sangram Parisad" started movement for the due honour of Bangla. On 21 February 1952, police opened fire on the procession of students and Salam, Jabbar, Barkot, Rafiq, Shafiur and many other persons were killed. Every year on this day, the whole nations come to the martyr's monument. According to a singular decisions of the Unesco on November 17, 1999 recognized our unique sacrifice for Mother Language Day. Every year on this day people from all walks come to the martyr's monument and offer their respect. UN secretary General Kafi Anan truely says " This day will help to raise awareness among the nations of the world about the end wring value of their languages.

Paragraph: Pahela Baishakh

Pahela Baishakh is the first day of Bengali year. We call it the first day of Shuvo Naboborso. To celebrate this day a part of our culture and tradition. So the day is celebrated with traditional festivity. Special meals are arranged at home. Baishaki Mela are held in different places. It is a day of great pleasure to the village people and children. Girls wear yellow sharees and boys wear pajama and panjabi. Some people eat watered rice with onion ,green chilly and hilsha fish. Shopkeepers both villages and towns open Halkhata and distribute sweets among their customers and clients. In Dhaka people attend the Gono Songeet Ashar at Ramna Batomul in the morning. Different cultural organizations offer different programs. As the celebration of Pahela Baishakh is a part of our Bengali culture. We enjoy the whole day. It is very essential part of our life and culture. Television will air special programs at this occasion. Students of Dhaka University will bring out a colourful procession. People of all age enjoy the whole day very much.

Paragraph: May Day.

May day is an international holiday of working people. 1st may is the international workers day. The day is observed globally with profound respect. It is recognized in all the countries of the world. As a result of sacrifice of the martyred workers in 1886, today workers enjoy all the privileges. Today they get a minimum wage. They have job security, safety laws and eight hours working time etc. Earlier there was no rule for the working people. They had to work 14 or even more hours and they have not job security. They could not protest for fear for losing job. However they protested against the injustice done to them. On May 3, 1886 police fired into the protestant crowd in Chicago. Many people were injured and one striker died. In 1886 a labour organization started movement demanding eight hours working period. This day reminds the working class people that the workers will continue to be exploited until they stand up and one speak out to the gain much better working condition, better pay and standard life.

Paragraph: Importance of Learning English.

English is an international language. Without English we can not anything. If any student wants to take degree in any subject he needs to learn English. Because almost all the books of high studies is written in English. Without English, we can not hope to get a good job. If anyone desires to get the job of a pilot, a postman, a high ranking officer, he must be well in English. Pilot can not speak all the languages. They talk to each other in English. If we want to become a telephone operator, a nurse, a waiter we must know English. Leaving our education and job, if we go to conduct business, there also be the necessity of learning English is very essential. If we cross our native border, we will have to know English. Because English is the only language to communicate with any other countries. English is on "Lingua France" all over the world. The knowledge of English is very essential for a tourist. Modern age is an age of computer and technology, we have to knowledge of English. So if we want to do well things, we must know English.

Paragraph : About Load Shedding.

Load shedding means the discontinuation of supply of electricity. It has become a regular affair in our country. Load shedding occurs when generation of power is less than the demand and also for unplanned distribution of electricity. Illegal connecting of electricity is also course of load shedding. Houses, mills, factories, industries, shops, hospitals all fall a victim to it. The running mills, factories and industries come to a stand still. Domestic life becomes painful. The housewives grape in the darkness in the kitchen. The sufferings of the students due to load shedding beggar description. The patients also suffer terribly for load shedding. Operations are stopped. The food kept in the refrigerators get rotten. In fact load shedding at night encourages the misereants in their violent works . After all load shedding effects the economy of our country. The government must to take necessary steps to check it as early as possible.

Paragraph: Traffic Jam.

When vehicles are stuck on a road and can not move easily, it is called a traffic jam. Now a days traffic jam is a common affair in big cities and towns in our country. It is one of the major problems of modern time. Everyday a lot of people have to face this problem. Day by day the numbers of vehicles are increasing. But the roads are not increasing. It kills our valuable time. Our work is very hampered. It causes a great sufferings to the ambulance carrying dying patients. The causes of traffic jam are many. The density of population is the main causes traffic jam. Many vehicles are moving on the same road at the same time and causes traffic jam. Many drivers do not obey traffic rules. Illegal parking of vehicle is also responsible for traffic jam. Besides Our traffic polices are not sincere. They do not do their duty properly. Some drivers stop buses here and there. Our government should be taken step this problem. Strict laws should be taken for dishonest traffic police. Traffic police should be posted on important points. Besides Our traffic rules should be changed and improved. Police awareness is also needed in this respect.

Muhit : Fine. What's about you?
Shan : Also fine. What are you doing now?
Muhit : I am writing an article about Covid-19.
Shan : You know that it is a very dangerous family virus. This
virus has been taken around over the world.
Muhit : The scientists have not yet found out any way about this
virus.
Shan : What is the symptoms of this virus?
Muhit : You have to know that it is a common cold disease. The
primary symptom of this disease are cold, dry coughing,
fever and tiredness.
Shan : How many people have died for it?
Muhit : A lot of people have died. But how can we free from?
Shan : There is no yet any vaccine, drug or treatment invented
for corona virus. But if any patient can take rest at least
15-20 days, he can get rid of this virus.
Muhit : Yes, you are right. So we should all be careful.

Paragraph : COVID -19

Coronaviruses are mainly a big family viruses. In the human body, several coronaviruses are causing respiratory infections. This infection can range from the common cold. To date the virus has been taken around all the world. The scientists have not yet found out any way to disinfect this virus. There are actually no perfect initial symptoms of this disease is cold, dry coughing, fever, tiredness. Some patients have been suffering a dew days. There is a full cure from the disease by proper treatment. A lot of people have died because of this disease. This virus is first seen in Wohan, China, on 31st December 2019. But it has already spreaded all over the world. The virus is very deadly and it can spread at a faster speed. There is no yet any vaccine, drug or treatment invented for coronavirus or Covid-19. That is why this is the highest tension point for all. Scientists are trying to come up with possible vaccines and some drug treatment. So we should all be careful and keep ourselves safe from this virus.
