ছবিটি কাজাকিস্তানের। এক সময় এখানে বিশাল সাগর ছিলো, নাম অ্যারাল সাগর। যার আয়তন ছিলো ৬০ হাজার বর্গ কিলোমিটার। আর এখন সেটা বিস্তৃত মরুভূমি।

আমরা যারা নিজের অবস্থান নিয়ে প্রচন্ড আত্মবিশ্বাসী এবং সেটাকে অহংকারের পর্যায়ে নিয়ে যাই তাদের জন্য এই ছবিটি প্রতীকী।

সময় যখন বদলায় সাগরও শুকিয়ে বিলীন হয়। সমাজ ব্যবস্থার সাথে এমন কিছু প্রাণি আছে যারা দেখতে স্মার্ট, সুন্দর ও ভদ্র কিন্তু অন্যের ক্ষতি করার চেষ্টায় মেতে উঠে। তাদেরও মনে রাখা প্রয়োজন যে, তাদেরও সময় ফুরিয়ে আসবে এক সময়।

সবাই এলো না। কেউ কেউ ঝামেলা মনে করলো।
কেউ কেউ দৌড়ে এলো পানির বালতি নিয়ে।
বিকেলে খেতে বসে আশপাশে তাকিয়ে বৃদ্ধ অবাক। কাউকেই তো চেনেন না তিনি। এরা কারা?
কন্যা বাবাকে বললো-”বাবা, যারা আমাদের বাড়িতে আগুন লেগেছে শুনে দৌড়ে এসেছেন সহায়তা করতে তারাই আমাদের আপনজন। আত্মীয় কিংবা বন্ধু তারাই। তাই তাদেরকেই দাওয়াত করেছি।
একটা কথা সবাই মনে রাখবেন-“যারা আপনার বিপদে এগিয়ে আসে না তারা আপনার সাথে এক টেবিলে বসে খাবার যোগ্যতা রাখে না।”
