Music is a flexible, responsive and effective tool for supporting social and sensory learning. Join us in Mildura for a FREE professional development workshop "Social and Sensory Learning Through Music in the Classroom" where you will experience hands on music, movement, singing and instrumental activities that can be easily adapted for learners of all ages and abilities to enhance social and sensory learning.

Teachers in ACT, join Dr. Sue Lane and Dujon Niue for a free PD workshop on music-making and cultural protocols, focusing on the inclusion of First Nations content in classrooms.
Designed for both generalist and specialist music teachers, participants will work with original music composed by Dujon Niue from Mua Island in the Torres Strait, and explore creative music activities that build music skills and promote cultural awareness.
This PD Workshop is TQI approved for 2 hours.

We loved reading this feature from the Victorian Deaf Education Institute highlighting Musica Viva Australia's long-running Music Education Residency at Furlong Park School for Deaf Children.
The piece celebrates the work of Music Education Residency Teaching Artist Karen Kyriakou, who has spent many years creating inclusive music experiences for deaf and hard of hearing students through movement, vibration, visual communication, instruments and Auslan, helping young people connect with music, creativity and self-expression.
