The Swallows - La Mama Theatre Clues beckon. Constant yearning. And lately my shoulder blades have been hurting. Almost like they want to sprout wings…  From an intricate universe of sound, objects and voice performed by actor Helen Morse, vocalist/musician Ria Soemardjo and cellist Helen Mountfort, the story of Aunty emerges....

What a buzz to be running my first, in the flesh, voice/rhythm workshop this year, with inspiring and brilliant vocalist Bonnie Smith - for the Boite Singers Festival - this Saturday 1st May at the Abbotsford Convent.
We will be remembering what it is like to synchronise in rhythm as a group(without zoom time lag!!!!), using our voices and simple movements. Bonnie will skillfully guide us into weaving improvised layers from these archetypal cross rhythms, through Circle Singing.
