Our children had an exciting and educational visit from Kids and Traffic, where they participated in a fun road safety program! 🚦🚸
Through engaging discussions and hands-on learning experiences, children explored:
• Safe road crossing practices
• The importance of holding a grown-up’s hand near roads and busy places
• Wearing seat belts correctly in cars
• Staying safe while travelling in buses, trucks, utes, and on bikes
• Why helmets and protective safety gear are so important when riding bikes
Building children’s awareness of road safety from an early age helps them develop lifelong safe habits while growing their confidence in the community. Thank you to Kids and Traffic for delivering such an important and interactive learning experience for our children!

🐣🦆 Exciting news at our centre! Hatch N Grow is here for the next 2 weeks and the children are having the wonderful opportunity to explore the duck life cycle firsthand.
From observing the eggs to learning about how ducklings grow and develop, the children are already so engaged, curious, and excited about this special experience. 💛
We can’t wait to watch this journey unfold together and see the children’s wonder and learning come to life each day! 🌱✨

We had a very special visitor at our service — M’s beautiful pet dog 🐶✨
The children were so excited to meet their furry friend! They enjoyed gently patting the dog, observing how calm and friendly they were, and asking lots of thoughtful questions. Experiences like this help children build confidence, empathy, and an understanding of how to interact safely with animals.
We also had important conversations about dog safety, including how we must always ask the owner for permission before patting a dog and remembering to use gentle hands around animals.
It was such a joyful and meaningful experience filled with smiles, learning, and excitement for everyone involved 💛
Mother’s Day celebrations are about to begin at Goodstart St Leonards and we are so excited and prepared to host our beautiful mums shortly 💐☕️
Our High Tea is all set with special treats, photo opportunities, relaxing hand massages and a beautiful teamwork activity where mums and children will create their own exfoliating body scrub to take home ❤️
We can’t wait to welcome our families and celebrate the amazing mums and special people in our children’s lives this afternoon.
At Goodstart St Leonards, we’re proud to offer daily Mandarin language experiences for all age groups 🌏
Through play-based activities, songs, games, and lots of fun, our children are naturally introduced to a new language in a way that feels engaging and meaningful.
