Jodi holds a Bachelor of Contemporary Performance from the Australian Institute of Music and a current Working With Children Check (WWCC), and has over 8 years of experience teaching children and young adults the principles of contemporary singing.
Her background as a performer and educator has been shaped by academic and practical experience. During Jodi’s tertiary studies, she gained further experience and knowledge in advanced music theory and vocal technique, and has put those skills into practice, having spent years performing and singing both on stage and in studios.
A published author, and indie-pop artist, Jodi has been writing and producing her original music since her days in high school. Composing on the piano from a young age, her songwriting and compositional skills have strengthened over years of consistent creation. Her music has been played on national and international radio stations, and has received recognition from Spotify and Apple editorial playlists.
Performing and listening to Jazz from a very young age, her skills in scatting, melisma and tone control are vital to her musical identity, expression and catalogue.
