Mitra shared the importance of building strong, trusting relationships with children, and creating a calm and positive environment where they feel safe and happy.
Sheβs also seen how much the sector has evolved, with early learning now recognised as a vital part of childrenβs education.
Thank you for sharing your story, Mitra, and for the care and commitment you bring to work every day!

At Gowrie NSW we embed Primary Educator Relationships in our programs - giving every child a consistent, dedicated educator who truly knows them. Because when children feel safe and secure, they're free to do what they do best: learn, explore and grow.

Empowerment looks like a three year old zipping up their own jacket. πΏ
It looks like a child who disagrees and knows it's safe to say so. A child who tries something difficult, struggles a little and keeps going anyway. A child who knows their voice matters because the adults around them have shown them - every single day - that it does.
At Gowrie NSW, we build that belief from the very beginning. Because children who feel empowered don't just thrive in early childhood, they carry it with them for life. π
