Play is where so much learning happens, and our educators love getting involved.
Whether itโs caring for baby dolls, racing cars across the floor or sitting down to colour together, joining children in the things theyโre interested in helps build connection, trust and confidence.
These moments also give educators opportunities to encourage language, extend ideas, model social skills and support learning in a way that feels completely natural to the child.
Sometimes the most meaningful learning happens simply because an educator gets down on the floor and joins their world. ๐๐

Science Week has brought plenty of curiosity, excitement and a little bit of magic to Little Graces this week. ๐งชโจ
The children loved watching our educators conduct some pretty cool experiments, making predictions, asking questions and seeing science come to life right in front of them.
A fun way to explore, discover and learn through play. ๐

Straight from the Bluey cookbook and into the kitchen! ๐๐ฅ
Our educators whipped up a batch of poffertjes for the children to enjoy, following Blueyโs recipe for these delicious little Dutch pancakes.
A little cooking, a little Bluey inspiration and a pretty tasty result! ๐

We recently had a very special visitor! ๐ฆ๐
Ditto and the Bravehearts Education Team visited Little Graces for Dittoโs Keep Safe Adventure Show, helping children learn important personal safety skills in a fun and age-appropriate way.
Through songs, movement and conversation, the children explored recognising safe and unsafe feelings, listening to their bodyโs warning signs, understanding that their body belongs to them, and knowing they can speak to a trusted adult if something doesnโt feel right.
Important lessons, shared in a way that helps young children understand, remember and feel confident. ๐
A big thank you to Bravehearts and Ditto for visiting!

Communication looks different for every child.
That's why we're introducing Auslan signs throughout our learning environments, helping children and educators communicate in more ways than one.
Learning simple signs like please, thank you, yes and stop can support communication, build confidence and encourage inclusion, while giving all children another way to express themselves.
Creating an environment where every child feels heard, understood and included is something we value every day. ๐

Today was all about creativity with a purpose!๐๐
The children had so much fun decorating a pair of jeans for Jeans for Genes Day, using colours, drawings and their own unique ideas to make them one of a kind.
It's a wonderful way to encourage creativity while helping children learn about kindness, community and supporting an important cause.
